Behind the Scenes with Jane

RIOULT’s new video is an  interview with dancer Jane Sato.  In this video, Jane talks about what is like to be a dancer in RIOULT as well as experiencing stage fright and how she overcomes it.  It also includes behind the scenes footage of Pascal’s highly  anticipated world premiere set to Bach’s The Well-Tempered Clavier.  Don’t miss RIOULT at The Joyce Theater January 19-24, 2010.

I think the interviews with the dancers are very interesting and quite important. Dance is one of the most demanding art disciplines. To get to know these artists and see the dedication and work it takes to accomplish their artistry, is truly inspirational. This blog is also a great way for us to tell them how much we LOVE and appreciate everything they do.

Thank you all for making our spirits soar into the space of beauty!!!

The NYC Ballet was my intro to dance and I was hooked since. But after experiencing Rioult, I entered into a new level of appreciation for the art. Excellent work, all of you.
